I accepted to ARC read this wonderfully thought out debut novel. I've read many fantasy novels, but this book was beautifully written and detailed , and I felt I could perfectly imagine it in my head.
The FMC was timid and abused and turned into a strong-willed fighter in the end. I loved her banter and wit as she grew into a determined woman.
Any book with dragons has me hooked, and I feel she did well to not venture off the plot line.
Well done, Gemma.

I’ve had the honor of being an ARC reader for Gemma her debut novel 🩷 Again thank you so much for the trust.
Wings Of Redemption is about a human girl with a fucked up family who one day gets thrown out and finds herself opening up a portal to the fae world. Upon entering the fae world she finds love, betrayal and a found family awaiting her.
While reading, Gemma kept surprising me with the plot twists (ahem I’m watching you ;) ) I would have never seen coming. At most parts I had difficulty putting it away because I was so into the book and wanted to know how it would continue. It’s a part of a series so the book does end in a cliffhanger 🥲. After I’ve read it I immediately jumped to instagram to tell Gemma I need book 2 now because of said cliffhanger. I don’t wanna spoil too much 🫣😨
I do recommend putting the book on your TBR / Pre Order it. If you love ACOTAR & Fourth Wing, this is an mix of those books 🫶🏼🌌

Got sent this by Gemma as an ARC.
What to say, what to say..
I bloody loved it!
It's got such a strong journey throughout, I resonated with the MC, anyone who's ever been put down, abused, beaten, emotionally or physically in their life will understand the trauma that inflicts on the soul. That you carry it with you always.
Gemma has captured this so perfectly, and throughout the story the MC grows and becomes stronger, while not forgetting her past. Even though it still troubles her and plagues her throughout.
There is no spice here, it is simply just a beautiful vibe throughout, adventure, mild romance, villains, portals, Fae, elves, dragons!!
The setup for the story can be a little troubling if you aren't comfortable with graphic scenes of children being physically beaten. It was quite sad, but in a good way, because it truly made me understand what the characters life was like, and the necessity of escape she was able to make later on.
The little romances in the story were so good. Everyone knows developing trust after trauma is very difficult. So this made the romance very sweet. I loved watching them unfold. #karia 3 i="" adored="" all="" the="" characters,="" world="" building,="" plot,="" plot="" twists.="" just="" this="" story.="" even="" went="" as="" far="" emailing="" gemma="" part="" way="" through="" to="" tell="" her="" so.="" she="" is="" lovely="" btw.="" first="" book="" of="" a="" series.="" did="" not="" know="" at="" time,="" found="" out="" end="" arc.="" and="" damn,="" after="" that="" cliffhanger="" end,="" cannot="" wait="" for="" 2!="" will="" recommend="" it.="" was="" captivating,="" interesting,="" sweet,="" mysterious="" an="" absolute="" pleasure="" read.="" totally="" deserved="" 5*="" from="" me.="" xo="" p="">

I am so grateful for receiving this book to read as an Arc. Ariana is a young human who has endured abuse from her family since childhood (PREPARE YOURSELF TO CRY while reading..)She lacks self-confidence and self-trust when she arrives in a magical world called Eloriaand meets Thorne, High Lord of the Court of Shadows in Eloria. She’s so naive and immediately falls in love…but Thorne is not what she thought he was. While exploring the Ream she found herself more self-confident and she found new friends, and you'll looove those friends!! I loved how this book is written and the world-building is simply stunning! I would never have seen coming the plot twists...and the end!
I cannot wait for book2 and I do recommend putting the book on your TBR if you like ACOTAR and Fourth Wings (oh yes....there are DRAGONS here!!) and:

Since Goodreads doesn’t let me do 4.5 stars, I will just go with 5 stars!
This book was amazing. If you like the fae from ACOTAR, the dragons from Fourth Wing and the magic from the fantasy realms all over, this is the book for you.
As with typical first books in a fantasy series, this was mainly world building, and this has a lot of description, which is what leads me to the 4.5 star rating. It was slow at times, but world building is always necessary so I can still appreciate it.
But the ending, the CLIFF HANGER, wow. An action pack ending that has you wishing for more! I cannot wait to see what the second book brings!

"You are not defined by what happened to you, Aria. You are defined by what you decide to do about it,"
I was not Ariana at this moment. I was not human at this moment. I was the whole universe, and the whole universe was I.
There were no scares. No injuries. No betrayals. I was the Luminara herself.

As a debut Author Gemma has truly found her calling. After changing her career and finding her true destiny this book was everything! I was gripped instantly by the depth of the characters and the way the book flowed. Every intricate detail was described in perfection, you could really imagine being inside the book. All the senses were on alert as Gemma took you into another world, a world filled with fae, humans and dragons. I couldn’t put this book down, finding myself desperate to get back to the story to find out Ariana’s destiny. Thorne is not what he seems, I found myself rooting for Kael at every turn. This book will leave you breathless, devastated at the cruel human nature living inside this magical land. A truly gripping cliffhanger, that left me gasping. Pick this book up, you won’t regret it!
I cannot wait for book two, this is going to be a fantastic series. I was so lucky to receive an ARC of this book and wish Gemma all the very best in her chosen career.

What a fantastic debut! I am also very grateful for receiving this to read as an Arc.
I feel that there isn’t much this book is missing! Fantasy, faeries, dragons, romance, suspense, humour, drama and excitement! It has it all!
I loved how the way it was written made me have an instant dislike to Kael but that soon changed and I was rooting for him!
I especially loved the dragons and actually chuckled out loud at some of their comments!
Aria was a wonderful character and I thoroughly felt as though I was on the journey with her.
There were some great twists in the plot that kept me guessing all the way through and what a cliffhanger to leave it on!
The epilogue had me a little confused so I cannot wait for the 2nd book to see what happens!
Definitely recommend this for those who love a good fantasy book!

I loved this book!! 5⭐️🤌🏻🤌🏻
I am so excited for the next book to come! First of I loved our FMC we saw her being this weak scared girl and we saw her grow! Become stronger and more brave!
I love how her mental state was described, it felt real and it’s not something that just would go away in one moment.
She had to work on herself.
There’s no official MMC…but come on after reading the book you know who she should end up with! I hope we learn more them in the next book!
Also I just want to see what happens after that major plot twist of an ending!!
